by Luke Geraty | Jun 8, 2015 | Posts

yet almost every Comp Iโ€™ve ever talked to denies this, despite the evidence :(

In case youโ€™re wondering how something like the debacle in the SBC could happen, hereโ€™s a suggestion: If people are taught that BY NATURE women are different than men, then they WILL be objectified by men. Theology has consequences.

Heading to England so I can hang out with some friends, enjoy some good food and drinks, talk about Jesus to a great local church, learn a bunch, and enjoy France for just a weeeeee bit โ€˜o time.

I already miss my family though.

Tomorrow night I fly to England and I have one primary goal for my nearly ten hours of flying time:

Catch. Up. On. Email.

Did I mention I hate email?

I saw someone tweet that if a pastor doesnโ€™t spend 15 hours a week writing their sermon, people should leave.

It ranked up there with one of the dumbest tweets I have seen in awhile.

Obviously I havenโ€™t been on Twitter much lately.

Julie, those are minor details that donโ€™t seem to matter to many.

Sadly.

Actor @KirkCameron platformed disgraced pastor @jamesmacdonald on a recent episode of @TakeawaysOnTBN. MacDonald was fired from @HarvestBible1, following many reports of bullying, deception & financial misconduct. But Cameron mentioned none of that.
