When I was growing up, I always wanted to hear a sermon from the book of Revelation. At the time, I heard little bits and pieces of verses from Revelation, but not actually working through sections of Revelation.
I know how I “pick” what I’m going to preach on, and I’m aware of how others do. But this may not actually help you if the topic you have always wanted to hear preached on or taught is never addressed!
So here’s your chance. What topic or passage of Scripture would you like your pastor to address? Be creative and honest!

Luke is a pastor-theologian living in northern California, serving as a co-lead pastor with his life, Dawn, at the Red Bluff Vineyard. Father of five amazing kids, when Luke isn’t hanging with his family, reading or writing theology, he moonlights as a fly fishing guide for Confluence Outfitters. He blogs regularly at LukeGeraty.com and regularly contributes to his YouTube channel.
I’d like to hear a sermon on Romans 13. How do we relate to our government as we proclaim the gospel? What’s the correct way for a follower of Christ to disagree with his authorities in the government? Our pulpits in America tend to either be a mouthpiece of a particular party or mostly silent on this issue.
