One of the beauties of baptism: Jesus got baptized to join himself to the sins of Israel; we join ourselves through baptism to the holiness of Jesus.

Baptism joins, unites, and identifies. There is a bit of reverse engineering, theologically speaking.

We had four planned baptisms and ended with four additional spontaneous responses to the Gospel. Pretty exciting day here in Red Bluff.

My friend Fred, one the amazing people who attends our church, wanted to get together, so we did. He mostly wanted to let me know he was praying for me and that he had sensed I carried heavy burdens at times.

How kind! And I feel so deeply cared for right now. I love him!
